Industrial Wood Chippers – Silmisa TITAN Range
Silmisa Maquinaria’s TITÁN static drum chippers give sawmills, recycling plants and councils a compact, all-electric line for turning everything from wet kerb-side shrubbery and radiata pine through to dense ironbark off-cuts into uniform fuel, mulch or sawdust.
The TITÁN 700 carries a 90 kW motor, 700 mm rotor and 630 × 290 mm throat, its twin upper and triple lower feed rollers driving mixed logs through a 700 mm cut length before discharge. Weighing ~7 t and measuring just 2.45 × 3.00 m, it is ideal for medium-volume or secondary re-chipping duties.
The TITÁN 1000 lifts capacity with a 132 kW motor, 1,000 mm rotor and 930 × 470 mm in-feed, plus three upper and four lower rollers that hold traction on stringy eucalyptus limbs and oversize rounds; it sits at 2.70 × 3.60 m and about 10.5 t.
Both models use heavy plate construction, abrasion-resistant liners and sealed bearings to withstand grit and moisture, while interlocked knife guards and E-stop circuits meet AS 4024.
Accessible knife bays and simple greasing keep servicing short, letting plants chip high-moisture or hardwood waste day in, day out with minimal downtime.
